 FINE ENGLISH WATERCOLOURS    

 

John Spink , based in London, has long been

known for dealing in the highest quality watercolours

by artists of note from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries; specialising in artists from the Royal

Society of Watercolours. He has over forty years

of experience, having started dealing in the early

1970’s with his father, Marshall Spink, a renowned

art expert and old master expert. He concentrates on pictures of great quality and condition, following in

the tradition of the Spink family.

The Family business dates from the middle of

the seventeenth century when another John Spink created one of the oldest surviving antique businesses.

This exhibition will attempt to demonstrate how the British landscape and the way we live our lives has dramatically changed over the last 150 years using  watercolours as the historical record.

The Exhibition will be held at the B.A.D.A. Fair in March 2011
